Players Enjoy FUT Packs – and They Won’t Vanish

According to EA SPORTS, FIFA gamers "enjoy" the Ultimate Team bundle and microtransaction mechanism, indicating their comeback in FIFA 23, due out on September 30, 2022.

Since it was introduced more than ten years ago, the pack structure in FIFA Ultimate Team has drawn criticism.

Players were initially able to purchase packs for cash, if you need FUT 23 Coins you can find a reliable seller to get enough of them, but this was converted to FIFA Points, and other alterations-such as price ranges-severely restricted coin trading and other in-game currency accumulation methods.

The release of FIFA 23 is swiftly approaching, and new elements like FUT Moments, improved stadium personalization, and a chemistry revamp are all planned. Packs and microtransactions will, however, mostly remain the same, according to EA.

EA claims players "love" FIFA Ultimate Team packs and microtransactions.

An EA statement to Eurogamer said: "We wholeheartedly believe that Ultimate Team and FUT Packs, which have been part of the game for more than a decade, are a part of FIFA that players love - fans love that the game reflects the real-world excitement and strategy of building and managing a squad. Giving players a choice to spend if they want to be fair."

Spending in FIFA is "completely voluntary" and not encouraged, according to the statement that followed: "FUT Packs operate in the same ways whether they are purchased for or won, and most players don't even spend any money in-game. For instance, in FIFA 22, nine out of ten FUT Packs that were unlocked were earned.

In FIFA, packs are common and some even "promise" a certain OVR player.

The EA pronouncements come as criticism of video game treasure boxes continues to increase. Given the young of FIFA's audience, many believe that marketing packs to players is harmful, and several governments have concurred.

Despite recently refraining from outright outlawing them, the UK government stated that they " except gaming businesses and platforms to strengthen protections for children, young people, and adults, and for meaningful outcomes to begin to be seen soon."

Similar criticisms of their standing in Ultimate Team have been made by Belgium and the Netherlands.

Aside from the problems with gambling, many players think that FIFA has become "pay-to-win," with those who are ready to invest money acquiring better cards and more coins.

The pricing, bonus packs, and player probability shouldn't alter much in FIFA 23 because EA is determined that the current structure makes FIFA better.
