OPPO A57 Mid-Ranger, Selfie Focused Smartphone to Launch on 3rd FEB, Price Revealed

Oppo has finally announced the launch date of its lower mid-range smartphone A57 in India. The Oppo A57 was launched in China in November in two color variants Rose Gold and Gold at a price of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000).

Oppo A57 Specifications

The Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels resolution) display. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Highlight of Oppo A57 will be its selfie focused camera. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash while a 16-megapixel camera front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12nm pixel size will serve the selfie camera purpose.

Oppo A57 is essentially a 4G phone that supports LTE connectivity along with the connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB. It is powered by a 2,900mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based ColorOS 3.0 out of the box. A fingerprint scanner is mounted on the physical home button on the front like the previous models.

Although Oppo has not revealed the pricing of A57, however, as per our information it will be priced around Rs. 15,000 and the handset has already made its way to offline retail stores. What do you think of Oppo A57’s price in India? Do let us know in the comments below.
