NYC EVENT ALERT | Fashion Icon Iris Apfel Personal Appearance at Loehmann's

Style legend Iris Apfel will make a rare personal appearance at the Loehmann's Chelsea store (7th Avenue and 16th Street) on Wednesday, December 4, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The 92-year-old fashion icon will be on hand to sign a limited selection of her "Extinctions by Iris Apfel" handbags, priced in Loehmann from $199-$249 (elsewhere from $370-$640). Mrs. Apfel, long known as "the rare bird of fashion," chose the dodo bird for her Extinctions logo! The collection includes hobos, satchels, and cross-body styles in vibrant fall colors and a range of fabrications, including calf hair, snakeskin, and exotic Mongolian lamb. Every bag features her trademark turquoise silk lining.
