Number of People Employeed in California and Across the U.S. Continues to Improve

The blue line (left side) is the ADP data on the number of people employed in private industries across the U.S. as of December 2012.

It shows there are 5.1 million more people working now than at the bottom of March 2010.

The red line (right side) is the government report on the number of people employed in California.

It shows there are 564 thousand more people working now than at the bottom of February 2010.

What I find disturbing is how far we have come from the bottom both in California and across the U.S. yet both employment numbers are still far below their peaks.
