Story: Nowhere Special starts as everyday single father and window cleaner John (Norton) is on the search for a new perfect family for his three-year-old son Michael (Lamont). John has only been given a few months to live and he wants to make sure his boy has a safe place to go.
As John finds himself running low on time, he is starting to suffering from pressure he has created, while Michael is starting to piece together what is going on, as he meets so many different families.

Thoughts – Nowhere Special is a drama showing us the impossible position a single parent can find themselves in when they learn they don’t have much time left before they die, as they want to make sure their young child is put into a safe home when they are gone. Nowhere Special is a bleak drama, one that will make you want the best for the kid, but know that the father is going through more than he can ever explain to his son. To make it through Nowhere Special, without wanting to shed a tear, is going to be very difficult, because the performances of James Norton and Daniel Lamont, are fantastic, showing a real bond between the two. Nowhere Special, is easily one of the best movies of the recent years, one that will leave you shell shocked with what we go through.
Final Thoughts – Nowhere Special is a special movie where James Norton truly shines.
