I was under the mistaken perception that those MLS sales and BIN sales we see every week reported in the marketplaces are all low dollar sales.
However I just got some information from Sedo that shows some domain sold through the MLS channel, even domain sold with BIN priced domains are fetching some excellent prices.
MLS is the registrar distribution product of Sedo and one in which in which automated offers and counter offers are handled all online without the need or participation of a live broker
Some of these sales were even BIN (Buy It Now) priced domains, where the buyer came in and bought the domain name for the price placed on it by the Seller with no negotiations at all.
According to Sedo.com here are the higher top 10 MLS (non-brokered) including some BIN sales:
Body.com – $380,000
elend.com – $140,000
Ops.com – $100,000
Endgame.com – $80,000
Livesafe.com – $65,000
Eatstreet.com – $44,000
Offmarket.com – $41,000
Theexchange.com – $36,000
Wbm.com – $35,877
Zodia.com – $35,421
Sedo also told TheDomains.com that MLS Deals are becoming more involving higher priced domain name.
In addition to these public sales Sedo has a list of confidential list of Domain-Deals via Sedo-MLS.
I’m told there are a lot of ccTLd-Deals in this confidential list.
