Yesterday marked the first day of General Availability for several new domain extensions (new gTLD’s)  and .Ninja led the way ending with 5,200 registrations.

Closely behind .Ninja was .Rentals which is sitting at 5,044 domains.

.immobilien which translates into “real estate” closed it first day with 4,500 registrations.

.Holiday had over 3,900 registrations after its first day of availability.

After those four  new extensions it was a large drop off to .Vacations which had  1,581 domains registered after it first day of GA

.Flights came in with just 822 registrations .

.Cruises sailed off to a slow start after its first day with just 682 registrations while .Villas finished last in this week’s new gTLD launches with just 622 registrations after it first day of General Availability.

.Wiki which went into general availability on Tuesday is sitting after its second day at 4,073 registrations.

No the greatest week for the new gTLD program which is sitting at 866,000 registered domain names.

All stats are courtesy of ntldstats.com.

I think the ever increasing volume of  premium domains along with increased pricing is hurting the roll out of the newest extensions.

.Ninja in our opinion based on our own research seemed to have by far the least amount of premium domains and those that were designated as premium were at a much lower dollar figures that other domains that launched this week but did not fair as well.

.Club now has opened a 2,000 led over .Guru in terms of domain registrations topping 62,000

Today also marked the 1st day of the TRAFFIC conference n Vegas which we are attending
