New U Nail Paints in ShowStopper and Burnt Sienna - Review, Swatches

By Get Set Blush @GetSet_Blush

Hey girlies On my recent visit to New U store, I picked up few things out of which I have already reviewed the Beauty Formulas Cucumber Invigorating Scrub which totally impressed me. While I was paying the bill, I saw these cuties neatly arranged near the counter and I had to pick these after all, they retailed at 49 INR per piece.

I picked up two colours which are way too unique in both the color and consistency.

Show Stopper: It is a black shimmery paint. It seems normal when it is in the bottle but turns out to be a textured kind when dries up on nail. It is opaque in one coat but you can always have a thicker finish when you apply 2 or more coats. It has gritty shimmer particles which resulted in the not so smooth texture on the nail. It reflects great :)

Burnt Sienna: If I had checked the name online, I am sure I will never be taking it. If you know what I mean. But this is one of the effing shade I have owned in recent times. I loved it totally. It looks darker in the bottle but when applied, it comes close to the "skintone" which is just perfect for daily wear or for work. If you are looking for something trendy and for partywear, you can add up some glitters to the tips and this shade just makes the glitter look more elegant.

Package:
This is their signature New U package. The bottles are tiny with a conical twist cap. The brush is thin but you can cover the nail in 3 swipes. The bottles are sturdy and name of the polish are mentioned in the form of stickers on the bottle cap.
Swatches: I have applied 2 coats of Burnt Sienna and one coat of Show Stopper on my ring finger. You can see how shiny is the Show Stopper. Burnt Sienna turns out to be semi matte/shiny finish.

The polish doesn't chip for 3 days. Later on, it starts to fade a bit. However, this only applicable to Burnt Sienna. Show Stopper doesn't fade/chip until you remove it with nail polish remover. Even with the nail polish remover the glitters are a bit tedious to clean up completely at one go. But I guess this is the similar case with all the glitter nail polishes. What say ? coming to Final Words: Overall, a very budget friendly polish that you can not skip buying. They have amazing shades and they are of good quality too. They didn't yellow my nails. They didn't damage nail or anything negative. I already picked up two colours from this brand from my last visit to the store. I am sure you will be surprised what I got. Wait till I review.. So... Do you own any New U Nail Polishes.?? If yes, what shade..??
