My Story of Choosing A Gel-Based At-Home Chemical Peel That You Would Relate With (Probably)

How I was first introduced to chemical-peel?

I remember when my sister got her tan and pigmentation removed by a popular dermatologist in Varanasi, and I freaked out because her skin was flaking and I had not seen anything like that. I cussed at the doctor and blurted some "words" to my sister thinking she chose the stupidest thing in the world, to know later that it made her hands even toned and she could wear half-sleeves without thinking too much like earlier.
Then here comes my sister-in-law (bhabhi) who got her pigmentation cured by the same treatment that made her face look flakey and I could not understand why in this world people were getting it.
This ignorance was also because nobody told me the name of the treatment so I could enlighten myself through "Sire Google"!

Then I learned the name "Chemical-Peel"-

I really don't remmeber how exactly I came to know that this treatment is called "Chemicale-peel"  and it was advised by many celebrity dermatologists, MUAs and beauty fanatics.
If I go by what I have learned so far, there are many chemical peels available for the kind of skin problem we want to deal with -
  • Glycolic Acid Peel
  • Lactic Acid Peel
  • Kojic Acid Peel
  • Mandelic Acid
I was thrilled to know what could a chemical-peel do for my skin!
  • Clear Blemishes
  • Unclog Pores
  • Fade scars and discoloration
  • Renew cell by peeling-off the outer layer
  • Reduced wrinkles

But I didn't study much before choosing a Chemical Peel for my skin!

Damn!

I invested in a cream-based peel but I didn't see any effect except that it made my skin feel like a rubber when touched. Not for long though! I do NOT know whether this is how I am suposed to feel but I definitely did not see the claims on my face at all. I will reveal that pel later! Then, recently -
My skin broke out with little black/white heads and I did many things with little relief here and there. I did my study again and watched some videos on YouTube to ensure my choice was mindful. But they were all about what a chemical peel did on their skin and what I should expect after the application. It helped me understand that I can try it safely at home!
And I finally took the plunge and chose a gel-based cheical peel and planned to go for an at-home treatment. Here is the name - Cosderma Koji Pro Gel Peel
This brown bottle of gel-peel was bought with a package that also included Cosderma French Vitamin C Algay Mask.
In this video, I might sound like I have lost my appetite and might faint any minute - but I was Really excited to try it out despite of all the fear I had in my mind thinking what if I burn my skin. Wha if it goes wrong!
I will soon be uploading the process how I applied it and then the after effects in a few days. Also, I will be back with brighter face (hopefully) and knowledge (for sure)!
So, subscribe to my channel which is not fancy as of yet but I plan to do make it fancy in future and stay tuned!
