The chart above reflects the results of the new ABC News / Ipsos Poll -- done on July 8th and 9th of a national sample of 711 adults, with a 4.1 point margin of error.
It shows that while the public was willing to support Trump as our fight with the virus began back in March, they have been very disappointed in his unwillingness to do what was necessary to control the virus. Currently, about two-thirds (67%) disapprove of how he is handling (or mishandling) the virus. Only about 32% approve.
