March 2018

Part of the performance lineup at the Los Angeles County Airshow were flight demonstrations of the Planes of Fame Korean War jets.  The Planes of Fame Air Museum owns one Sabre and three MiG-15s, one airworthy and two on static display.  Only two months separate the first flights of these aircraft with the Sabre flying first on Oct 1, 1947.  The MiG-15 outclassed the straight winged fighters used in the Korean War until the Sabre was deployed.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
