Microsoft Edge Canary Gets ‘Custom Theme’ Option in New Tab Page Setting

Posted on the 29 August 2020 by Viney Dhiman @vineydhiman

Microsoft is frequently adding new features and settings in each version of the Edge browser in the Canary channel. Starting with the latest version of Edge Canary v86.0.622.0, the company introduced a new option in the Page Layout menu available on New Tab Page.

Earlier, Edge Dev team added a ‘Your own image’ option in the NTP Setting menu that allows users to set custom background in the Edge browser New Tab Page. With the addition of Custom Theme option, it seems like the company wants to make it easier for the users to access and customize Edge browser theme settings right from the new tab page.
