Michelle Williams is staying booked and busy since breaking off her engagement with Chad Johnson.
It was announced Friday afternoon that the singer/actress has been cast as a younger Diana Ross in the upcoming BET biopic “American Soul.”
The series is based on the life and career of Soul Train creator Don Cornelius. Diana Ross is impressed by Cornelius, who is courting her to appear on his new show, but she hasn’t quite decided if she will accept his offer yet.
American Soul is set to premiere with back-to-back episodes on February 5 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.
