Hello Fashionistas!! I hope everyone is well and staying fabulous as usual . As you all know by now I love fashion shows ! Being able to cover the shows from behind the scenes up until Runway time is my high. When I was able to attend the Miami Beach International Fashion Week is was elated. Their team was amazing ,and I can’t wait until next years presentation. Let’s get to the business at hand..I present Miami Beach International Fashion Week…..
The 14th Annual Miami Beach International Fashion Week was held on March 21, 2012. This show highlights top emerging designers from all over the world to show their fashion aesthetic to the world. Grammy Award winning Dionne Warwick and Mega Producer Damion Elliot started the night off with a press conference on fashion and life experiences.
To kick the show off was swimwear… we all love , need, and want amazing swimwear to hit beaches this Summer. Designers presenting are Emmanouela Iliaki from Greece, Zella Machado from the USA, Pais del Sol from Ecuador, De Lancret from Brazil/USA and Minka by Maven from the Bahamas.
With all the amazing Designer presenting the show was divided into two parts , Emerging Designers and the Miami Style Showcase. First up is the Emerging Designers. I love seeing new talent breaking into the fashion world. It is always refreshing to see new designers take on whats trending and what’s the future of fashion design. Lisu Vega, Zula Studio, Crystal 4 U, By Misha, K. Hendrix, Erin Healy and Eduardo de las Casas are in this class …..let’s see what they have to bring to the table…serve!!!

Up next was the Style Showcase with presentations from established designers Viviana G. for Petit Pois, Luxxe Collections/LUXXE Golf featuring celebrity golfer Jackie Gonzales from the LPGA Futures Tour, Kayce Armstrong for Art of Shade and Ema Savahl Couture.

Wow ! Fashion was on parade this evening and it’s only the beginning , this was day 1! The Official After Party followed the show with a birthday celebration for Music producer Damon Elliot .
