Today I'm reviewing the newly launched product from Maybelline India - Color Show Lipstick. These are one of the best affordable lipstick available in the Indian market. I got a gorgeous neutral peach lipstick - Caramel Custard (309).

My experience with the productMaybelline Color Show Lipsticks comes in glossy black packaging with color coded band at the center. The shade name and number are mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. It is sleek and cap shuts tightly and will not open up in your handbag. Apt for travelling!The texture of the lipstick is creamy, velvety soft and glides easily on lips without tugging. It feels non-sticky and super light on lips. The finish is glossy and gives luscious shine to lips. The shade is intensely pigmented and a single swipe gives intense color to your lips. The color do settles on fine lines and you need to exfoliate your lips beforehand. If you have dry/flaky bits on lips it tend to accentuate them. The color stays on my lips for 3-4 hours. Since the lipstick is creamy it wipes off easily while taking light meals or drinks and dark shades may bleed. The lipstick may break/melt in humid weather conditions.

Caramel Custard (309) is a peachy brown in the tube but applies a light nude peach on the lips. The color is really easy to wear and I would recommend it for light to medium complexions. This would make a great color for everyday/work wear. It instantly perks up your complexion when paired with so smokey eyes. 

Maybelline Color Show Lipsticks are one of the best affordable lipsticks available in India. They are creamy in texture, well pigmented and last a decent amount of time. The only con being - the dryness but at the price of Rs 299 you can't fault them. The shade - Caramel Custard is a gorgeous nude peach and would make a great shade for everyday wear.
