PackagingThe Maybelline Color Show Lipstick comes in a black lipstick casing with color coded wand that helps in shade identification if you own more than one shade. The shade name is mentioned on the sticker at the bottom. The packaging is nothing attractive but considering the budget friendly price tag, I give it thumbs up!

TextureMaybelline Color Show Lipsticks has a very creamy texture. The lip color applies smoothly and glides like butter on lips. It feels super light and comfortable on the lips but doesn’t hydrate or moisturize them. It doesn’t settle on fine lines however, if you have extremely dry lips then don’t forget to exfoliate then beforehand to avoid cheapness.

PigmentationMaybelline Wine Divine Colorshow Lipstick is intensely pigmented and delivers opaque lips in a single swipe, however, there are few shades that deliver a sheer wash of color in a single swipe and the pigmentation needs to be built for better opacity.

FinishMaybelline Wine Divine Lipstick has semi-glossy finish but can be blotted down for an even matte finish. As the color wears off, it leaves behind an uneven pink stain on lips.
Staying PowerThe Maybelline Color Show Lipstick Wine Divine stays for decent 3/4 hours depending on the amount you eat and drink. It’s not transfer proof and hence, requires touch up after every meal or when you drink something.

Wine DivineMaybelline Colorshowrange has some gorgeous reds, pinks, plums and neutrals and I picked the shade Wine Divine. Wine Divine is a gorgeous wine with a mix of brown. Because of its texture, it does not come out too strong or bold on the lips and hence it is very wearable, neither too vampy nor too bold for day wear. A great shade for Indian complexion and I’d highly recommend this to everyone! These shades can be best paired with black liner and natural blush.
