Today I'll be reviewing one of Maybelline new launches ~ the Color Show Crayon Kohl Noble Purple, a blue based purple with shimmers.

My Experience with the Product
Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohls comes in black twist up packaging with colored caps to identify shades.
The texture of this kohl is neither smooth nor dry, but they are a king of stiff, due to which you need to swipe it 3-4 times to get the desired color on the eyes. Soft and smooth textures would have made this kohls glide easily on waterline, but it does shows up in my upper lash line. These are less pigmented compared to Maybelline Colossal Turquoise Kohl (Read here). The finish is very patchy and dry and you need to work hard if you want some color to your eyes. The color sets on to a smudge-proof finish within seconds, so if you want to soften and smudge the kohl you need to be quick.
The best about this kohls are ~ they wore throughout the day, without smudging or fading. I wore this 2-3 days back for some grocery shopping from 10am to 1pm and this stayed well inspite of the hot humid weather, no smudging or transferring to the socket line too. Overall, I liked the longevity more than the pigmentation. Noble Purple is a gorgeous purple with blue undertone and purple shimmers. This is best used on a upper lash line for a purple smokey look.
