The 49th NAACP Image Award nominations were announced Monday morning, and Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z are tied for the most nominations.
Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige both have 5 nominations, followed by Bruno Mars, Issa Rae, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA with 4 Nominations; Charlie Wilson, Idris Elba and Ledesi Received 3 Nominations.
Netflix and OWN Lead the Nominations in the TV Categories, with OWN hit shows, Greenleaf, Queen Sugar, Iyanla Fix My Life, Super Soul Sunday, and ‘Black Love Doc’ all receiving nominations.
