Accompanying the fresh release of their debut album Glossolalia, Marshall McLean Band released their newest video for “Coat of Many Colors”. Like McLean’s music, the video takes a simplistically layered approach to a live performance and makes it captivating. As the group jams out in what appears to be an attic of sorts, the video flows back and forth between slow motion and live shots, while we see the raw emotion that goes into a performance. The tight camera work in a aesthetically pleasing setting comes together to create a visual compliment to the aurally superior track. Also, can we submit Justin Landis’ beard for Bassist Beard Of The Year. Seriously, it’s glorious.
