The show itself consisted of two collections, themed "Lovers" and "Heroes". The clothes featured mostly natural tones, with colors like dark green, orange and soft pastels being the main takeaways. Most of the pieces were flow-y (more or less) and some had an interesting movement to them, and effect created by the use of fringe.

The evening was a star-studded event, with many celebrities, artists and statespeople attending the show. Among the guests to the show were Russian vionist Lidia Baich, singer Kim Cooper, Gabriele Benz from Le Méridien Vienna, Sonja Klima, the new leader of the Spanish Riding School, British singer James Cottrial, Tanja Duhović - Miss Austria in 2003, many photographers, business people and officials. And, of course, Attire Club was also represented.

The tent was packed with many guests, as the opening show was a VIP invitation-only event.

The MQVFW will continue until Sunday, 15 September and will present collection from over 40 brands from Austria and from around the world, including Novita Yunus from Indonesia, Chirimoya from Colombia, Rozbora Couture from neighboring Slovakia and more.
