Mamma Mia! ABBA Museum Forced Mother To Pay Admission Fee For Infant!

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

The Local reports that the ABBA museum in Sweden has “come under fire” after charging a mother an admission fee for her infant. Since then, the museum has changed its entrance policy to only charge children aged three and over.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. ABBA has its own museum? We thought that every Karaoke bar and night club featuring bachelorette parties slurring “Dancing Queen” would have been a sufficient number of ABBA “museums” for the entire planet!

2. We love reading the Local, aka “Sweden’s News In English,” however how did a one person (plus one baby) dispute over ABBA museum admission prices become the current top story? We guess this is what happens when the other-leading-all-capital-letter-Swedish-newsmaker, IKEA, avoids controversy for the day.

3. Is the Tea Party aware of all the stuff these babies get for free? By the way, who thought it was a good idea to let crying babies ride airlines on their parents’ laps for free? As far as we can tell from road-safety billboards, kids who look like they are eight years-old have to be strapped into a car seat, facing backwards, in the back seat, facing the opposite direction of the Finding Nemo DVD playing in the minivan. But on an airplane with turbulence – babies ride free. And by “free’ we also mean free of any restraints preventing them from becoming projectiles.
