The world of beauty has undergone a huge transformation. There is so much and so many brands out there, that if you are in the market for buying a mascara, you end up buying a mascara, a lip paint, an eyeliner, and may be a few extra things. And if you are a beauty blogger.....then GOD be your wallet's savior !
Having said that, I am guilty of impulse makeup-buying, and also bringing all in my makeup vanity to most of my getaway trips. But no more, I have learnt my lesson the costlier way. After paying the airlines $$$ for all the extra weight, I have now decided to traverse the travel-light-path, which would mean scaling down to a few makeup essentials, that would suffice in any trip. So stay tuned and keep reading for all that is in my carry-on makeup kit.....
1) TINTED MOISTURIZER - a tinted moisturizer is a creamy formulation of moisturizer and foundation. Basically, it serves dual purpose of moisturizing and providing coverage too. Retailers now offer them in multiple shades, so there is something for every skin color.
2) TARTEIST PRO TO GO eye shadow palette- this one ( AMAZONIAN ) has a few neutral matte shades and a couple glitter shades. Mattes for the day and sparkle for the night, you won't regret bringing this one.
3) TARTE MANEATER VOLUPTUOUS MASCARA- on days when you aren't feeling too much makeup or are short of time in the mornings and an elaborate eye makeup is out of question, a sweep of a good mascara is all you need. Nude for the day and pink for the impromptu date night. 8) TARTE COLOR SPLASH LIPSTICK - I like to give myself the option of a few lipstick shades, especially when traveling. My lipstick mood changes with how tanned I get and how my skin feels on any given day. These lipsticks are long-wearing and moisture-rich and provide full-coverage and look at the packaging.
