LOVE AROUND THE WORLD= Season 1 - Trailer by Senserial.com BY KATHERINE RUSSELLMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Love around the World by Katherine Russell is a Senserial publication, released in August 2013. A brief note about Senserial for those who may not be familiar with their concept. The publishing company doesn't just publish books. They are into a little of everything. Check out their web page- <a href="http://www.senserial.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.senserial.com. The book concept is one that e books allows us to have and I think it is something that will catch fire and is becoming more and more popular. The books published by Senserial are released by "episodes". The books can be purchased at an affordable price and are available in the Amazon kindle store. Of course, these are in digital format only. You may buy one installment at a time or all the available installments at once. (Check the web page for more details)  The publishers kindly provided me with all the episodes in this book. (There were I believe 3 parts, 12 episodes total) Maris and Tom have been together for five years. They find themselves at the drugstore arguing over a bottle of Pepto Bismol. They almost break up at the check out counter. When they are finally alone again, they have a serious discussion about their relationship and decide that time apart is a good idea. Maris, though nervous, decides to embark on a journey at the urging of her best friend. She makes a list of the qualities she believes the perfect man would have. She then sets off on a journey around the world in search of someone that embodies at least some of these traits. Her first stop is Costa Rica. She meets a guy and flirts with him only to find that he is married to a very jealous woman. She also meets a guy named Ralf. She isn't all that taken with Ralf at first, but he gives her some excellent advice and they end up being friends. Next, Maris travels to Argentina and has adventures there she never dreamed she would find herself having. There are several other stops along the way. Maris meets several men, has a few close relationships develop, but the most important thing is what Maris learns about herself while on her journey. I think all of us can relate to the situation Maris and Tom were in. It's easy in everyday life to wake up one morning and realize you are in a rut. This story is like a fantasy we would all have. Just take off on a journey around the world and meet new people, take risk you never took before, and take a chance on finding the love of your life. It may not turn out quite like you thought it would though. Maris discovers things about herself and life along the way. She still has a great deal of soul searching to do. I liked Maris sometimes and sometimes I got frustrated with her. Flirting with a married man, regardless of his wife's tendencies, didn't really set well with me and I got off on the wrong foot with Maris at first. But, along the way she redeemed herself. The writing was very unique. I liked the style and the imagination the author had. I am really excited about this new way of reading and publishing books. Today so many people don't read because they don't have the time. This is a unique way of encouraging those people to read more. Overall this one gets an A.
