Loni Love was overcome with emotion on The Real Daytime, as she shared her thoughts during the Girl Chat segment Thursday on women judging each other.
Loni Love shared a personal story of a friend who walked the red carpet, and was talked about because of the way she looked.
Loni revealed to her co-hosts with tears streaming down her face, that her friend, even though she didn’t have a lot of money did her best…. and was still talked about.
Loni then asked a question that we as women, need to ask ourselves.
“We as women, are we doing this to ourselves?”
“We put ourselves in these judgemental roles, where men don’t put themselves in judgemental roles like this.”
Co-host, Tamera then chimed in.
“Maybe if we start loving ourselves as we are, maybe we’ll start loving others as they are.”
Check out the segment and share your thoughts below.
Loni never disclosed who the friend is, and quite honestly that doesn’t matter.
It’s time out for judging each other as women, that’s played out anyway. Society does that to us enough. It’s time to uplift, encourage, and empower each other.
