Little Sure Shot – Olds College Brewery (Olds College Office of Sustainability)

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Olds College Brewery in Olds Alberta (Located between Calgary and Red Deer) comes their "Little Sure Shot" a saison brewed by the women in the Brewmaster program at the college. This beer was made in collaboration with the Olds College Office of Sustainability and 15% of the proceeds of the brew are being donated in honor of International Women's Day. The beer pours a golden colour with a white head. The aroma consists of wheat, grains, lemon and some spices. The flavour is of wheat, grain, lemon, lemon zest, yeast, mild spices as well as mild rye. The alcohol content comes in at 5%. This is not a complex saison but it is a super tasty one. Good job ladies of the Brewmaster program you nailed this beer flavour wise!

Commercial Description: Brewed by the women brewers of our Brewmaster program, this Farmhouse Saison beer is sure to hit the mark. It is a medium bodied beer with complex spicy notes and fruity aromas. We are donating 15% of proceeds of this brew in honour of International Women's Day!
