LiteMatte Beauty Pop by Penshoppe Review & Swatches

By Rayrose Camille Samson @itsrayrose
So here is the second installation for the Beauty Pop by Penshoppe review and swatches. For this post, I'll be sharing to you my insights about the LiteMatte lipstick collection so let's get started. Honestly, between the two collections of HydraMatte and LiteMatte , my personal choice is the LiteMatte. The LiteMatte formulation is much better than HydraMatte. Beauty Pop describes LiteMatte lipsticks to have a long-wearing, featherweight formula with a powder-like finish. So let's get started on my in-depth review.

LiteMatte Lipsticks

Product information

LiteMatte according to their packaging(box) is a light weight, lon-wearing, bold color kind of lipstick. Truly they make a statement to that because on my try on they really have a bold color compare to the HydraMatte which focused to give moisture to your lips.
Size: 3.6 g
Price: 219php
Shades: Just like HydraMatte it has 9 shades

As I've said to my previous post, Beauty Pop by Penshoppe lipstick is very pleasing to the eyes. For their LiteMatte lipstick, they choose Orange to pink gradient color both on their box and to the actual component of the lipstick. The claims of the LiteMatte was printed on the box lightweight, long-wearing, bold color. Same like on the HydraMatte Beauty Pop motto is still visible "make your beauty pop!".

The product expiration date is printed at the box but still, shelf life after opening the first use of it is missing.

Swatches:

I was only able to swatch 7 of the shades at my arms because I missed placed the other two lipsticks. I will just make an updated photo if I will find them. Upon swatching all of the shades on my arm I can definitely say that they do have more pigment compared to the HydraMatte.

For my overall thoughts about this product LiteMatte Lipstick of Beauty Pop by Penshoppe please check details below:

  • On the first swipe to your lips, color does not show up yet, but once the outer layer of the lipstick is already melted you can see that they are really pigmented.
  • I love the color choices on this collection mostly are wearable
  • I only noticed that Slay color is a little bit patchy and hard to build up the color to  my lips.
  • They do have velvety feeling on my lips but their claims of powder like texture on my opinion is not a success.
  • They are not long wearing, but leaves a little stain to your lips. You need to retouch your lipstick every end of your meal/drink.
