Today's wedding is the perfect blend of quirky vintage with a touch of old Hollywood glamour (how gorgeous is the brides hair and bold lip colour!) I am especially in love with the floral bridesmaids dresses, the colour pop in the beautiful bouquet, and that the Groom had his Grandfathers ring melted down to create his own wedding band. We met at a six aside football tournament in 2009 and then, at a halloween party at daniels family house about a month later, he asked me out.
When we got engaged it was during a family reunion in 2013, everyone was asking Daniel when hes going to hurry up and ask, and then when we got home he asked!
I didn't even know he had the ring!
Seeing Daniel the first time after spending the night apart was surprisingly emotional, and something I'll never forget.
The speeches were very special, my dad and sisters surprised me by even getting up, and Daniels cousins message from thier Nana who had recently passed away was very touching, and Daniel overcoming his stagefright for his speech.
Some of my favorite details about the wedding were the choice of wedding songs, the colours, the weather, and the company oh and the photography was top notch!!!
The actual day was especially cool because, as the youngest of five siblings, everyone around me was helping and fussing over me and doing thier own little parts to make sure my day went perfect, all the way till the end of the night.
I especially know that Daniel enjoyed spending the day as a classy gentleman in a suit and bowtie surrounded by family.
