Will it work with a roll up garage door?
The LiftMaster 8500 garage opener will work with any roll up garage door with a spring and rod. They also come with cable tension sensors.
How do they perform?
The garage door openers perform excellent. The manuals are pretty easy to follow and it’s easy to install.
Make sure your garage doors are lubricated properly, this helps eliminate noise after years. You can install both the lights with each of the garage doors so they turn on separately.
The door locks don’t have a memory so they won’t know what position they are in when locked or unlocked. Remember to reset the doors to locked when you manually unlock the doors.
