At that point, the company announced that it would continue to provide software updates for certain phones in certain regions. Now LG has made it clear which phones are eligible for future Android updates and how many.
In its recent announcement, the South Korean company reassured its customers that its premium phones will receive up to three iterations of Android updates from the year of purchase. This three OS update warranty covers all premium LG phones available from 2019 - G-Series, V-Series, Velvet, and Wing.
For example, the LG Velvet was started with Android 10, so it should ideally be suitable for updates up to Android 13.
