Lessons (for me) from the Life and Death of my friend Mandiba

From his life:
You can survive 27 years in a box
You can smile throughout it all
Principles and Gandhian positions, do count
The world may eventually come to its senses
Anyone can change his/her mind about gays
From his death:
Blacks and whites, men and women, without religious symbols, veils, coverings or segregation, can
Celebrate a life together not just grieve
But:
We still have racism and the hatred of blacks, especially smart blacks, like Christine Taubira and Barack Obama who were called “monkeys” by Anne Leclere and Barbara Espinosa, respectively.
