Lenovo’s sub-brand Zuk has unveiled the much anticipated Zuk Edge in China. The latest flagship device Zuk Edge comes in Titanium Black and Ceramic White color variants. It comes in two versions. The 4GB RAM version costs at 2229 CNY or Rs. 22,000/$320 and the 6GB RAM variant costs 2499 CNY or Rs. 23,800 /$350.
Although, it was touted that the Zuk Edge will come with a higher screen to body ratio than Mi Mix or may have a dual curve display like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It turned out the other way, and Zuk Edge comes with an 86.4% screen to body ratio, it carries its unique design language.
The Zuk Edge features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and is available in two variants available in two storage options: 64GB variant with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB model with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM.
It comes with a 5.5 inch full-HD TDDI display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and extremely thin bezels on the sides. The Zuk Edge comes with a 13-megapixel camera with a 1.34-micron pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor, f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel front facing camera.
A Fingerprint sensor is placed at the front of the device can Lenovo claims that it can unlock the device in 0.09 seconds. A 3100 mAh battery powers the device while the dual-SIM Zuk Edge runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based ZUI 2.5. The phone comes with a USB Type-C port and it supports Quick Charge 3.0.
Connectivity options on board the Zuk Edge include 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS/ A-GPS. Other sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Although Lenovo has not officially announced Zuk Edge’s India launch but given the performance of the Zuk series in India, we can expect it launching soon here.
