These days, smartphones with full metal body are getting very popular. The metal body doesn't just give the smartphones more stylish looks but also makes them sturdier. However, the full-metal body smartphones generally fall in the higher price brackets.

But recently, Lenovo launched a a full-metal body smartphone that costs less than Rs. 7,000. This is Lenovo Vibe K5 which costs only Rs. 6,999.

Vibe K5 is the successor of Lenovo A6000 smartphone and bears the same price tag as A6000.

Vibe K5 is equipped with a 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 Octacore CPU. It has 2 GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable with microSD card). It has 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is powered by 2750 mAh removable battery.

The display of Vibe K5 is 12.7cm (5) high-definition with 720×1280 pixel resolution. It has a full metal body with tapered edges for more comfortable holding in the palm.

Vibe K5 is also equipped with two high performance Dolby Atmos® enabled stereo speakers that help in minimizing noise and voice distortion when playing media. It also supports Lenovo's TheaterMax technology which turns the existing media and games into an immersive large screen experience when viewed through the AntVR headset (sold separately).

Lenovo Vibe K5 is available in Gold, Silver and Grey colour options exclusively on Amazon. As the smartphone offers a very decent set of specifications and the style of a full metal phone at an affordable price, it is finding much favour from the customers. As per Lenovo, it sold 52,000 units in its first flash sale that saw a total of 4 lacs registrations.
