“American Idol” Season 10 winner, Lee DeWyze is a married man now! Lee, 26, tied knots with fiancée Jonna Walsh, model and actress.
The couple exchanged “I Do” in a private ceremony at Camarillo, California on Saturday with 100 guests attending this vintage-inspired ceremony. The singer’s family also flew down from their native place, Chicago for the wedding ceremony.
The outdoor venue was decorated with blush-coloured flowers, including peonies and garden roses and Lee commented, ‘It was really our style of wedding. Outdoors with chandeliers.’
The actress wore a Lili Bridal strapless lace-embroidered mermaid shaped gown and walked down the aisle to the tunes of a personal song written by the singer titled, “Who Would Have Known.”
Lee said this wedding song will be available for his fans on his next album.
The couple exchanged simple, classic wedding bands purchased from Tiffany’s and will be off to Bali, Indonesia for their honeymoon. Jonna is all excited about their approaching Asian trip with venturing native wildlife being the prior plans.
The newlywed couple had met in October 2010 when DeWyze casted Walsh for his music video “Sweet Serendipity”. This was the inception of this beautiful relationship.
Less than nine months later, their courtship was further bonded when Lee went on his knee, held out the diamond engagement ring and popped the big question to Jonna at Disney World, Florida in July 2011, under a fireworks lit up night sky.
