The soap is semi opaque and the color is brownish orange. It is a rectangular bar of soap which has nothing engraved on it plain and simple. It may have a tendency to slip mentioned by the brand hence keep the hole of your bathroom sealed. But I never had any problem. The soap lathers decently and the smell of sandalwood and turmeric is quite good and does not smell like essence. This soap can be used on the face as well as body.The soap is handmade and contains a mixture of many essential oils which is what I loved. It does a good job of cleansing the body without making it dry. I tried on the face and it did a good job, I never experienced any breakouts.The smell lingers for an hour or so but I like the clean feeling it gives. This soap is one of the inexpensive ones I have tried and is of good quality.It is meant for all skin types and can be used by men and women too. A noticeable difference in skin texture can only be seen after using for a considerable amount of time.It eventually helps in reducing pigmentation but cannot claim about acne control as it varies from person to person.
