Lami Phillips Gbadamosi is her real full name but fondly called Lami Phillips. She is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter and talented actress.
Lami was born in Chicago, Illinois where she had greater part of her early years. While in the UK studying, she took vocal lessons and also joined the choir at her church (Jesus House, UK).
Lami later moved to Nigeria with her parents and siblings where she attended elementary school at Corona School, Victoria Island.
