Pinks on my lips, cheek and even in my attire.
I bought myself some pinks, every kind of pink- Pink Lippies, Pink Dress and so on..
Packaging- The whole range of Weightless mousse comes in an attractive feminine rose gold packaging like 9to5 lipsticks- rose gold carton and Pink cylinder tube with tear drop applicator wand with a rose gold cap. The screw cap properly secures the product and you can simply just put in your bag without any worry of leakage.
No doubt, the Tear drop applicator gives a convenient application even at corners. Obviously pretty packaging but the only way to locate the colour if you have many of the same range, is the shade mentioned on the bottom and obviously you wont keep it upside down in your vanity case.
Colour and Pigmentation- Colour is superb!....I am loving this Dark Pink. Amazing pigment as 1-2 swipes are enough to give ultimate opaque finish.
Texture- As named, matte finish but smooth and velvetty in application. Transforms to matte colour within few seconds of application but surely no creasing and no transfer at all. Girls who have dry lips would probably not like this as it is drying, even I was not in mood to give it a try but the colour attracted me. Surely it dries out my lips but not immediately, atleast after 4 hours I feel my lips dry and I start licking them. I tried applying a lip balm beneath but then it became creamy and started transferring and needed few more minutes to dry up to matte.
This is super light on my lips, I don't even feel that i am wearing something on my lips the entire day.
Longevity- 6-7 hours without any transferring and even survived a full meal in my case. I hardly need touch up while I am in office.
As a Cheek color- Wow, this is one of the rare shades which looked great on my skin tone and to tell you the fact, after Maybelline Cheeky Glow- the only blush I am in immense love with. It is there on my cheeks for the entire day- no fading. But if you have large pores like me, a proper base is needed to give a smooth finish. Just few dots on cheeks and spread this- spreads and covers well to give a proper color.
Also this did not aggravate my pimples which is a usual case with most of cheek products.
On the downside, it has a weird fragrance which is yuck! (strictly personal opinion) for me but it vanishes within few seconds of application.
So overall the Lakme 9to5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Creme Color- Sugar Touch is must try for working women - the perfect shade, finish and staying power! Just go and try, I would recommend more colors like Blush Velvet and Coffee lite as I loved their swatches on lip and cheek both.
