My experience with the product
Lovely, Gorgeous Packaging! I absolutely adore the rose gold packaging of this range. These looks so elegant and chic. The names of the shades are mentioned at the bottoms. However, if you'll own more than 1 shade, it would be difficult to locate the shade you want. Somehow, colored labels would have solved the problem. I hope Lakme is listening :)Lipsticks are quite soft and smooth in texture. These are not absolute creamy but powdery in texture which is why they deliver matte finish on the lips. Matte lipsticks are tend to be very drying, these are too not very moisturizing but mildly drying. You tend to exfoliate your lips well beforehand to avoid color settlement on the dry areas of your lips. These are amazingly pigmented and a single swipe gives full coverage and bright color to the lips. As they are creamy and have powdery texture, these does not transfer to cups, glasses, etc.

The deeper color stays on the lips for full 9 hours (tested), the color somehow deepens as it stains the lips pretty well. The color doesn't get patchy with the wear time, infact it stays even and you don't really need touch-ups. The lighter shades stays for good 6+ hours with mild fading. The best part is the shade selection! They have about 40 shades and have a lot of great everyday wear shades along with some pretty neons as well!

Peony Goal is a pale mauve shade with fine golden shimmers and would suit Fair skintone pretty well. Red Chaos is a warm peachy pink shade that would flatter Indian Complexion pretty well. This makes a great everyday wear shade.The Good about Lakme 9-to-5 Lipsticks ~- elegant packaging

Smooth, powdery texture, matte finish, long wearing, intensely pigmented, classy packaging are the key features of Lakme 9-to-6 Lipsticks. These are slightly drying but you can use a lip balm underneath to overcome this. The formula is pretty good for a long wearing matte lipsticks! Kudos to Lakme for launching such an amazing range of lip colors!Highly Recommended!Rating : 4.3/5
