Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) attended a commemorative photo-op with participants of the 5th Conference Party Cell Chairpersons in Pyongyang on December 24 (Sunday).  Also in attendance were Workers’ Party of Korea [WPK] Vice Chairman and members of the WPK Executive Policy Council (previously known as the Executive Policy Bureau and Executive Policy Department) Choe Ryong Hae [Ch’oe Ryong-hae], Pak Kwang Ho [Pak Kwang-ho], Kim Phyong Hae [Kim P’yo’ng-hae], Thae Jong Su [T’ae Cho’ng-su], O Su Yong [O Su-yo’ng], An Jong Su [An Cho’ng-su], Pak Thae Song [Pak T’ae-so’ng], Choe Hwi [Ch’oe Hwi] and Pak Thae Dok [Pak T’ae-dok],

Upon Jong Un’s arrive, the conference participants “enthusiastically welcomed him, extending their highest glory and warmest greeting to him.”  He waved back and he warmly “congratulated the participants for having consolidated the Party cells to be flagship organizations in carrying out the idea and cause of the Party and taken the lead in devotedly working for the Party and the socialist country.”  Then, Kim Jong Un posed for group photographs with the conference participants.

After the photos were snapped, the conference participants “broke into thunderous cheers of ‘hurrah!’ in token of their great reverence for him.”  Jong Un then expressed his “expectation and belief that participants would cherish the main spirit of the conference and consolidate all the Party cells to be loyal ones and vanguard ranks for the implementation of the Party’s policy, as required by the developing revolution which has reached a fresh higher level.”
