Ultrarunner Karl Hoagland Takes Over at Ultrarunning Magazine
UltraRunning Media Group, LLC headed by Karl Hoagland, has acquired Ultrarunning Magazine, and will be taking over from John Medinger as its Publisher starting July, 2013. Hoagland has finished over 40 ultras including a 15th place at the 2010 Western States 100 where he serves on the board.
John and his wife Lisa will remain as correspondents and editor Tia Boddington will also retain her position. New team member Ultrarunner Erika Lindland will serve as a Contributing Editor in charge of race content and the magazine’s website.
