Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner in Black: Review & Swatches

By Sudhaa Gopinath @sudhaag17
I'm blogging after such a long time due to shifting to our new home and then some more days after lack of internet connection at my place and some more due to lack of interest. Yeah its been really long since i have blogged. I seem to have fallen in a rut and cant conjure the energy or the enthusiasm to start blogging. Hopefully this is just a phase. Okay on to the post now.......
Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner in Black: Review & Swatches
I love liquid eyeliner not just because it was the very first makeup product i tried but i love it for the fact how fluid and adaptive they are and how easy it is to draw a thin line or a winged eyeliner with them. And this pen type eyeliner is perfect for doing just that.I really love how comfortable and easy it is to handle them. This makes them such a wonderful product for anyone who is trying their hand at lining their eyes for the first time.
Price & Quantity: $1.99 for 1.54g (bought from Cherry Culture)
Ingredients: The ingredients are not mentioned on the product but they have mentioned them on their website.  Water (Aqua), Acrylates Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Lignosulfonate, Sodium Laureth-11 Carboxylate, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 80, Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Edta, Black 2 (CI 77266).
My take on this: The pen like packaging is very convenient, practical and travel friendly and last but not the least, very affordable. It is pocket friendly only if you get them at the above mentioned price. If they are going to sell it here in India, they would definitely jack up the price, then it would be just another eyeliner in the market.
Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner in Black: Review & Swatches The tip is thin but not super-thin. If you are looking for something to do miniature art in your eyes, then this is not the one. The tip is thin enough for a decently thin line and can be manipulated to do small arts but not finely detailed ones. The tip gives a smooth line and doesn't drag the skin on the lid. It is not super pigmented pigmented but not bad at the same it. And it dries quickly on applying. I have noticed that when i wear any eyeshadow i need an extra swipe of the eyeliner as the eyeshadow shows through. I also feel that the constancy is bit runny.

On my oily lids it lasts for about 5-6 hours and then it starts to fade slowly. But on prepping my eyes, it lasts for more than 6 hours. Not so bad considering the price, but not so great for ladies who hate to prep their eyes just for this eyeliner. The one thing i hate about it is its smell. It has this chemical smell like a marker but it wears off soon. There are only two shades available in this range. Wish they had lots of shades in this one :( I find so many contradicting reviews on the this product. It is so different from each other and i didn't see none of that in this one. I guess it must be a bad batch or something.
Pros: Affordable. Travel friendly. Convenient to use Draws thin lines. Draws smoothly. Cons: Contains 3 different Parabens in it Chemical smell.
Needs an extra swipe of the liner when wearing eyeshadow.
Runny consistency.
Doesn't last long.
Verdict: This one is pocket friendly and not a bad choice for using everyday; however using a product that contains 3 different Paraben everyday??? I dont think so!!! Jordana INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner in Black: Review & Swatches
