By Firstladyb
In case you missed Bette Midler performing the Oscar nominated tune “The Place Where Lost Things Go,” from Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns,  at last night’s 91st Academy Awards, singer/songwriter JJ Heller has released a wistful rendering of the beloved song and you’re going to love it!

JJ Heller Releases Rendition Of Mary Poppins Returns “The Place Where Lost Things Go”“When I heard Mary Poppins sing her lullaby to the children, comforting them as they miss their mom who died about a year earlier, the scene made me cry as I watched in the theater,” said Heller. “It’s an absolutely beautiful song and I knew I had to make my own version!”

For over 15 years, Nashville-based independent singer/songwriter JJ Heller has traveled the country sharing music full-time with her husband, Dave Heller, who also co-writes, plays guitar, and provides witty banter from the stage. Her songs have been featured on national television, international advertising campaigns, and radio stations across the world.

On Nov. 02, Heller released her tenth full-length studio album, I Dream of You (Volume II), a 15-track compilation including 12 of Heller’s favorite cover songs from the 1950’s through today alongside three brand-new originals.
