  • Jaggery powder – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom – 1 pod
  • Ghee – 2-3 tbsp

  1. Add grated coconut, jaggery powder, rice flour and cardamom into a mixer.
  2. Add little water and grind everything into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat a pan and add ghee.
  4. Pour the ground mixture into the pan.
  5. Cook on low flame, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  6. Keep cooking until the mixture thickens and reaches a soft halwa consistency.
  7. Once it starts leaving the sides of the pan, switch off the flame.
  8. Allow it to cool before serving.
