Interview of Yulia Kharlapanova, on the Set of Harper’s BAZAAR En Español by Benjamin Kanarek

Thanks to her incredible facial features, Yulia Kharlapanova is able to be cast in looks from highly exotic and ethnic to western “Femme Fatale” roles like in the last Benjamin Kanarek editorial “RISKY BUSINESS” for Harper’s BAZAAR en Español. During this shooting, Yulia opened up for an exclusive video interview for Harper’s BAZAAR en Español and Benjamin Kanarek Blog.

Yulia Kharlapanova is a Russian model of Ukrainian descent and lives in New York.

She is 21 and has been featured in several editions of VOGUE, Teen VOGUE US, Harper’s BAZAAR US, Marie Claire Italy, V Magazine, Flair Italy, Dazed and Confused, 10 Magazine… With her perfect face and body Yulia is one of the most requested runway models during New York, Milan and Paris Pret-à-porter and Couture Fashion weeks.

For the next Spring-Summer 2012 Season, Yulia walked in 37 shows between New York (Carolina Herrera, Chado Ralph Rucci, Cushnie et Ochs, Elie Tahari, Jen Kao, Kevork Kiledjian, Lacoste, L’Wren Scott, Monique Lhuillier, Ralph Lauren, Reed Krakoff, St. John, Theyskens’ Theory), Milan (1° Classe Alviero Martini, Antonio Marras, Blumarine, Frankie Morello, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jil Sander, Jo No Fui, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli) and Paris (AF Vandevorst, Ann Demeulemeester, Arzu Kaprol, Christian Dior, Elie Saab, Guy Laroche, John Galliano, Lanvin, Maiyet, Paco Rabanne, Peachoo Krejberg, Valentin Yudashkin, Vanessa Bruno) and even closed the Rick Owens’ show.

She has been the face for Moschino, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, Benetton, Gap, American Eagle, H&M, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent to name a few.
