Here, we give you the latest news and goings-on in the industry.

Early this year, on March 29th, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong opened. Standing at 490 meters above ground in the International Commerce Center, it has taken the record for being the tallest building in the world. As you could expect, it boasts the best views of the city - the Victoria Harbour, the entire island, and even the New Territories.

This opening was actually more of a comeback, a grand resurrection from when the first Ritz Hong Kong closed down from the central area in 2008. And when this new building first opened, great caution was taken to make sure everything was perfect for the actual opening. Despite having 312 spectacular accommodations, occupancy rate was kept around 50-60% to make sure that everything ran smoothly, from the restaurant kitchen to all its luxury amenities.

Now, it sets the bar not only in height, but in elegance. There is a panoramic Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, six dining choices from the 102nd floor up, a tea lounge, a lobby lounge, and an outdoor rooftop bar.

To experience Hong Kong in the most glamorous way, you've got to stay at the Ritz-Carlton.
