There are four main telecom networks in the country at the moment: 2G, 3G, 3G and 3G. However, before buying a SIM card for so long, customers knew very little about what kind of network or operator available in their area. As a result, they had to suffer various problems like the network unavailable, slow internet speed and closing of the call. However, to change this situation, the telecom regulatory body or tri has directed all private telecom companies to publish specific maps on their website.
Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea have now started publishing network coverage maps on their website. This change was followed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. As a result, mobile carriers have begun to display online geopolitical coverage maps online.
Currently, all the major telecom operators except the BSNL are providing detailed information about where their wireless services can be found. Customers will now see what networks are available around them and choose the right network between 2G, 3G, 3G or 3G. It should be noted that this change is part of the QOS rule (QOS) rule, which has been effective from October 1, 2021.
The main goal of this amendment is to empower the customers by giving consciously choosing the opportunity to choose the telecom services provider. Airtel, Geo and Vodafone Ideas have made the coverage map live on their website. Airtel users can find their maps in the “Check Coverage” section. Geo listed it as a “coverage map”. On the other hand, Vodafone Idea published this map through the “Network Coverage” link below their site.
