Following their long-awaited – and critically acclaimed comeback album ‘Everything Ever Written’, Idlewild have unveiled their video for new single ‘Every Little Means Trust’. An anthemic and folky piece, the video stars none other than Jay Baruchel – the Canadian actor who appeared in This is the End, Knocked Up and How to Train Your Dragon – and has a very nostalgic feel as the band play the song in a high-rise building while Jay and his lover enjoy the great outdoors.
With a big slot at 2000 Trees on the horizon, it’s a joy to see Idlewild back writing new material – especially when it’s as touching and rousing as this.
