If you’ve ever secured tickets at Smart Araneta Coliseum or New Frontier Theater, you already know the next problem. Where are you staying after the concert ends at 10 PM, your feet hurt, and Grab prices suddenly feel illegal?
I’ve been there. You don’t want to be that person wandering Cubao at midnight dragging your tote bag and lightstick. You want something close, safe, and worth your money.
So here’s a no-fluff, actually useful guide to hotels near Araneta City. From walking-distance picks to budget backups.
And yes, I’ll also tell you which ones I’d personally choose.
Before anything else, save this because it matters.

1. Novotel Manila Araneta City
Best overall. Zero stress, zero regrets.
Novotel is the hotel if you want your concert experience to feel like a soft life moment. It’s literally beside the Smart Araneta Coliseum. You can walk from your room to the venue without worrying about traffic, rain, or post-concert chaos. Rooms are clean, modern, and quiet. The buffet breakfast is also worth waking up for, and the room service is good even if you slept at 2 AM scrolling fancams.
This is my top choice every time I attend a concert in Araneta.
Best for:
People who don’t want hassle. First-time concert goers. Anyone traveling solo.
Real talk: This is the safest choice. If your budget allows it, just book this and move on.
2. ibis Styles Manila Araneta City
Stylish but more budget-friendly than Novotel.
iBis Style is in the same location advantage. Slightly lighter on the wallet. You can enter this hotel inside Gateway 2 while the main entrance is literally beside the Araneta’s Red Gate.
The vibe here is younger and more playful. Think colorful interiors, compact but smart rooms, and everything you actually need without unnecessary extras. There’s also a co-working space. You’re still within walking distance of both venues, which means you can go back to your room right after the concert while everyone else is stuck outside refreshing Grab.
This is the hotel I booked last March 2026 for the Ateez Concert. It is as convenient as Novotel, but budget-friendly. It’s also new. It just opened in late 2025.
Best for:
Budget-conscious fans who still want convenience and aesthetics.
3. Hotel DreamWorld Cubao
For quick stays and practical budgets.
Hotel Dreamworld is not your aesthetic hotel. This is your “I need a place to sleep after the concert” hotel.
It’s close enough to Araneta (still walking distance) that you won’t struggle getting back. Rooms are basic but functional. If your priority is saving money for merch or your next concert, this works.
Best for:
Short stays. Solo travelers. People who prioritize budget over vibes.
4. Eurotel Vivaldi Araneta
Underrated and surprisingly convenient.
Eurotel is one of those hotels people forget about until they need something reliable. It’s near enough to walk or take a very short ride. Rooms are simple, but you get decent space compared to some budget hotels.
Best for:
Groups or friends splitting costs.
5. Red Hotel Cubao
Aesthetic rooms with a slightly farther walk.
Red Hotel is for the content creators. Rooms look good on camera. There’s a rooftop pool. The overall vibe is more curated compared to typical budget hotels.
It’s not as close as Novotel or ibis, so expect a short ride. You may need to book Grab after the concert if you’re tired. Still manageable, especially if you’re okay with a bit of distance.
Best for:
Aesthetic stays. Staycation plus concert combo.
6. Red Planet Cubao Aurora Boulevard
No-frills, clean, and predictable.
If you’ve stayed at Red Planet before, you already know what to expect. Clean rooms. Good aircon. No drama. It’s a bit farther than the top options, but still within a reasonable distance. Good fallback if everything else is fully booked.
Best for:
Reliable budget stays.
So Which One Should You Book?
If you want the easiest experience, choose Novotel. You’ll thank yourself when you’re walking back in five minutes while everyone else is stuck outside.
If you want something slightly cheaper but still convenient, go for ibis Styles.
If you’re saving money for more concerts, DreamWorld or Red Planet will do the job.
Simple rule. The closer your hotel is, the less stressful your concert night becomes.

If You’re Planning More Concert Trips, Read This First
If you’re the type who follows tours across venues, don’t stop at Cubao. I’ve already mapped out where to stay for other major concert spots so you don’t have to start from scratch every time.
If your next stop is Bulacan, check my guide here: Hotels Near Philippines Arena and Stadium — I break down options near the Philippine Arena, including hotels like Seda Vertis North and Park Inn by Radisson that are commonly used as shuttle pickup points, which honestly makes your life easier on concert day.
And if your concert is in MOA which is in Pasay, this one saves you from post-concert chaos: Hotels Near MOA Arena — because MOA Arena traffic after a show is a different kind of battle.
