I am proud to have celebrated Mother's Day with the Special Olympics Singapore athletes and their moms recently over a high tea event held at Blu Kouzina, courtesy to “Thank You, Mom” campaign, sponsored by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in partnership with NTUC FairPrice, which runs for the fifth consecutive year.
Organized under the theme of #LoveOverBias to recognize the key role of unconditional love and support of mothers to their children in overcoming the challenges and the biases they face daily, Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Manpower was also present to pay tribute to Special Olympics Singapore athletes' mothers for "connecting and nurturing our future generations for a better tomorrow".
The heart warming event was followed by a lively sharing session from two mothers of Special Olympics Singapore athletes, Ms. Doris Lee and Ms. Karen Yeo, while guests were treated to dishes curated by celebrity chef Forest Leong.
Invited guests to #LoveOverBias high tea got to indulge in the taste of "East meets West" fusion food curated by Celebrity Chef Forest Leong.

The afternoon was culminated in a check presentation of SGD20,000 to Special Olympics Singapore on behalf of P&G and NTUC FairPrice.
