When I was a first-time mom and deciding what first solid food I should give my baby, I gave him Gerber cereals and never looked back. It’s always been the perfect choice for me. That’s why this second time around I never hesitated to also give it to my baby girl. As you know, I have been breastfeeding her since day one, but for the reason breast milk is naturally low in Iron, she needed it most in her diet. She needs food with a good source of Iron. Thanks goodness, Gerber Cereals provides 100% of baby’s daily iron needs. I’m so happy she loves it!

My baby is always excited about mealtime and her favorite food is Gerber Cereals! It was her first solid food way back months ago and she still loves it until now. Along with other essential nutrients, it has Iron in it which makes it a perfect first food for breastfed babies (like my little girl) to support their growth, brain development, and learning ability.

We started with single grain cereal because it’s ideal for baby’s first food to determine if there are food sensitivities. Her very first spoonful of cereal was Gerber DHA and Probiotic single grain cereal. DHA helps brain and eye development, while Probiotic Bifidus BL helps support digestive health when eaten on a regular basis.

I love that Gerber infant cereals offer a variety of flavors. I guess there’s always a Gerber Cereal for every baby’s tastebud. Oatmeal, rice, banana, etc. And did you know that picking up these goodness at Target is so easy? You can find them in the baby section, you just have to decide what flavor you’ll want to try with your baby.

I’m happy that my baby let me put her in the shopping cart for a second so I can snap a photo of her and her Gerber cereals that we picked up in store.

I’m alternatively feeding Riley different flavors of Gerber cereal now that she’s ten months old. I’m happy to see that she’s loving what I’m feeding her. Sometimes I mix breast milk with her Gerber cereal. She’s also okay whenever I just add water to it. She also loves it whenever I add fruit to her cereals.

She’s too cute every time she demands more spoonfuls of cereals, she has her way of asking for it and I just know what she wants.

With her growing and learning development, I’m happy to see that my little cutie pie can now sit confidently. I can feel that she’s going to take her magical first steps soon because she’s a healthy and strong baby! I’m excited about it!

Raising a healthy child requires the right nutrition in their diet. And in my case as a breastfeeding mom, Gerber Cereals help me support my baby’s growing and learning development. Now I don’t have to worry if my breastfed baby is getting enough iron because just two servings of Gerber Cereals can do the job.

So when you shop for your little one’s first food or cereals, be sure to always check the label. Check for the one’s that has essential nutrients such as Calcium, Zinc, Vitamin C, E and six B Vitamins. It’s a plus if it also has DHA and probiotic. And oh, it should be Iron-fortified too! Gerber Cereals has it all, I trusted this brand to help me provide the right nutrition for my two babies. I know it can help you and your baby, too!
