Verdict on Heart of the Hunter
Heart of the Hunter is an action thriller following a former assassin dragged back into the world. He is turned to in an attempt to expose a wider conspiracy in the country and finds himself fighting for his loved ones.
This movie feels like a mix of the general assassin dragged back into the world and ‘Enemy of the State’. It uses the person with a quiet life getting dragged back into it by a chance meeting, rather than something happening to them. This keeps everything on edge and surprises with certain events in the movie. It could be seen to have inspiration from a ‘24’ for showing the bigger world involved. In the end, this does everything you would expect, it entertains and keeps you guessing.
